Tripping Hazard

    My patients are upset that we are'nt any longer giving them swivel connectors on their oxygen tubing.
    The tubing therefore tangles up and poses a risk to them tripping.
    Are swivel connectors really THAT expensive?
    It's bad enough that our concentrators sound like a nazi blitzkrieg coming through town and what's next?
    Washing used cannulas?

    Find out if you can just outright SELL them to the patient. They can't cost all that much, even with the markup.
    Everybody is happy.

    ya,i went by the Ford dealer and they were selling cars with no wheels/tires...........your a f,ing idiot.

    No i'm serious. My manager says he will not stock them anymore because they're too expensive and that "there is nothing wrong with patients just untangling their own tubing". But when the tubing starts kinking irreversibly, TGEN we have to replace the IT, whch is more expensive than a couple swivel connectors.

    Tell your manager to cut costs by lowering his 60k salary so your office can afford swivel connectors.
