That is strange. They said they wanted to hire by 8/24

Offers from the Chicago event have gone to everyone at this time. They have also followed up with everyone who attended the event. If for some reason you didn't hear from someone, follow up with the hiring manager or the recruiter. The recruiting event in September is only for the remaining open roles. People who accepted will be starting on 8/24. Enough with all this false bullshit

Yes and if you have heard from them run for the hills! This is the most messed up company - taking their premier sales force and giving them a crap drug and downsizing the sales force for the best antidepression drug out there. What are they thinking? Otsuka is going to spit them out before they even know what happened

Anyone get the communication/instructions for the hiring event in September? I was told verbally that I will be going forward to the Chicago interviews but have received nothing in email yet. This was two weeks ago.

Thanks for the useful insight. Clearly, I wasn't chosen to be part of the Chicago Team. Even more clear was the fact that I was used for comparison shopping for other reps. Bring in the old, experienced, white guy, and stack everybody against him in comparison to make the "informed" decision. It's astounding the level of p.c. crap they plan and execute for in an effort to show inclusion. Same interviewing tactics. Same questions. Different company. They actually had one manager sit off to my side, asking all the questions to distract me from connecting with the hiring manager! They wanted to know all about my ability to work with others, and I pleasantly informed them of the many teams I have built and the multiple awards I have won as an individual contributor to said teams. All they had to do was be open to making a connection with me. I would have done all the work for them. Lastly, if they were worried about longevity, I will work circles around either of them for years after they become the chafe for the Lundbeck interviewing process. Thanks for wasting my time.

So tacky ! I interviewed in Chicago in aug and just now got the old rejection email !
They kept telling me to hold on and I was a top candidate , clearly tacky because the manager never responded to my 4emails I sent following up after aug 8 th. Terrible way to treat good candidates.

I was there this week. It was the toughest interview I've ever gone through in all my 15 years in CNS. 3 stages total, and the easiest one was the HR portion. The one with the ladies from home office made me feel like I was in a pressure cooker and boy was I getting grilled hard. Afterwards I was told I'll hear something in a week. No word yet on how I did but I figured if we don't hear anything by tomorrow we're getting passed on.

hardest interview? what are you smoking? typical interview questions in the "what did you do in this situation" format formally known as the STAR format. question abt the HR portion for everyone. what handout did the HR person give you? Did yours have the dates of training? We're you told the dates by the hiring manager in the first hour interview?

I was at the last hiring event but I think our formats are similar. The HR portion of my interview was in 2 parts. The first was about salary expectations and a timeline on start date. The second was a benefits presentation. No one ever brought up training dates. I did get the offer the same week and then afterwards my manager told be when training would be.

Not the same poster you're replying to, but I agree with him/her. I come from a device background and that industry is known for ball-busting interviews. However my experience this week was on a similar level, except there were no logic/computation questions. Yes, they were STAR format that asked for specific examples, but it was the interviewers' tone and approach that threw me off. For example, I was asked to walk through the sales process of my product with a potential decision maker. That came natural for me of course, but during my presentation, I was bombarded with questions regarding my train of thought, how my style would be perceived by different personalities, and how the outcome may have been different with an unresponsive customer within the first minute. I also had a lot of team-based scenario questions dealing with conflict management and resolution.

As far as the HR part, I was told the start date, orientation date, and home office training dates. I was also asked salary expectations and had an overview of benefits. I received an offer today and was told by the gentleman it was non-negotiable, but I am more than happy with it. Good luck to all who interviewed and may you receive good news as well.

OK... I did the Chicago thing on Wednesday and I felt it was one of the easiest processes I've ever done. But that might mean I will not be receiving an offer? Started with very standard resume questions, then a couple STAR questions, then RVP interview which, again, was extremely easy and laid back. And finally HR. HR asked me salary expectations, told me about start date and asked if i could begin on that date. Then went over benefits package.

I left thinking... "that was just too easy."
Hoping I get an offer... But at this point, I'm doubtful.

Well damn - the fact that one person got a call with an offer is not very promising for the rest of us. And I was confirmed to be the only candidate going up for this position. Now my weekend is going to suck.

And PS - the interviews were pretty much a joke. A few situational questions, but nothing difficult at all.
