Sad that salaries are lower than industry standards for a specialty field force!

I would not give up. You will get an email if it's a no. I think these things just take time. :)

I'm a beta rep here already. Max salary is 110 and that needs special approval and will be difficult for most to get. Median pay will be in the low 90s. Just saying this is low compared to other specialty jobs out there.

I feel like they are being more selective than they have the right to be, given the low salaries they seem to be willing to offer.

Yes they are. What this will cause is reps viewing this as a tempo job kinda like a contract job while they continue their job search to find a better one That pays in line with industry standards. Paying 20k less than industry standards is a red flag for sure!

I had a f2f preliminary interview for a gamma position yesterday. The manager told me that if selected to move forward, I will be contacted with arrangements to fly to Chicago for the hiring event in September. Then it will be a panel interview format with 2 managers, another one with the director and another manager, and one with HR. Anyone go through this in the past? We didn't discuss salary btw.

You're late to the dance. The first wave of the Chitown panel interviews was last week. Offers going out to reps with existing low salaries. If candidate pool does not fit salary band of 90-100k, they will keep searching for reps that fit into the lower salary band.

Are they looking at salary only? Or total compensation? I'm coming from a med device background where my salary is only 65k but I made 100-120k in total annual commission. Sounds like target bonus here is 35k, so I'll need a salary of 100+ to even consider signing on. Anyone with an offer have a similar situation?
