Managed Markets seemed to be getting back on track. I like a handful of them. 2 stellar National people and about 4 or 5 solid regionals. This new guy comes in and Micro Manages the hell out of all of them. I can tell no one wants to be here any more. To me it's funny because I've lived in a southern state then moved to another location as a rep. The first state I lived in we had perfect access much in part to the account director who was a stud. The second state we had no access thanks much to the ad as well. I think we should beat up on 60% of these guys but the handful that are awesome we should look out for a little more. Either way, I think this new guy, that has NO clue, is going to run them all out. Talks a lot robot

AD's are a thing of the past. They cannot cut their own deals or bring value to the customer. They talk to accounts at best once a quarter on the phone or email. Corporate tells them what discount to give and they relay the message. They should cut the division because it is a joke. Then they can cut the Brovana sales force because they continue to miss goals and sales haven't grown in 2 years.

Agree...they need this guy to get the division back on track. All need to feel some urgency.

He doesn't even realize that he has "lost" the team. Everyone is sick of him talking about himself and his family. Enough is enough dude, get a clue!

None of this matters, we need a pipeline of some sort. It's gotten to the point where anyone left here is unhirable elsewhere or lazy and waiting to be laid off / fired.

I agree that it is the account director that makes or breaks us. We had a good one but he left at the beginning of this year. He made me some big bank $$ and we all know he was also why Wisconsin has done so well. My question is now that he is gone will Iowa once again become the red headed step child with no one caring or working it? I haven't met the new guy that they just hired (it only took them 7 months to fill the position!!) but I hope he knows he has some big shoes to fill.

Ha ha ha ha. Managed Markets Getting back on track. Now that's some funny shit. We on the Aptiom team don't even think we have a managed markets team here.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha right back at you my little aptiom rep friend. I'm still waiting for the "significant" managed markets launch incentives that we in managed markets were promised at the Aptiom launch meeting. You know what we got? NOTHING!! Maybe that's we we don't spend any time on your miserably failing piece of crap product. Quit blaming managed markets and learn how to sell your product you whiner.

Well f@ck you very much you entitled waste of Sunovion capital. Doesn't matter how good or bad a drug is if no one will pay for it. Do your job, we'll do ours. We're supposed to work together not against each other.

Now I don't think any of us in managed markets have a problem working with the Aptiom team at all. It's just we have been given marching orders that we will not be contracting for the drug because it can get approved for use if the doctor wants it. In some very limited situations we will give a little discount if it is restricted really bad but that is not the case in like 99% of the plans.

My big problem is with the Aptiom sales team. I'd agree with the poster a few above who says that most of the Aptiom sales team are cry babies. We got monotherapy and all you guys are still gloom and doom. I'd be surprised if most of you are only working like 20 hours a week. I'm pretty sure that if monotherapy indication does not give us a big increase in the trend line many on the Aptiom side will be let go. We can't keep paying such big base pay for an average monthly territory TRx of 15 scripts. So, get on board and sell as if your jobs depended on it because IT DOES!!

So quit your crying and try working 40 hours a week and see if that helps.

Why would any AD leave when they all get guaranteed 15K to 35K in LTIP each year on top of their Director level bonuses? The regional level jobs are the biggest joke. Dont get me wrong, some are very good at what they do, however, its such a cush job to be making >$225-250K per year with no accountability.

And, I hear so many of them aim for airline status by planning rediculous client "meetings" or conference attendance to get more legs and miles. As the year end approaches many will suddenly have a need for airline travel. Some even use their "meetings" to get free plane rides for weekend excursions...meeting on Thursday, "office day" Friday at destination hotel, "Travel day" Monday. Thanks Sunovion!

That's awesome! How do I get that gig? A couple of ADs I know have a side business in commercial development. Their former boss was in on it too. Conflict or just a way to work the system?

We were told not to contract Aptiom. We even role played in Phoenix at the launch meeting to just say no to contracting. It's on your shoulders not ours. But, I'm here for you if you need me!

Laziest folks in the company. Rely on MM marketing and contracting to do their jobs

Agreed. MM are the laziest, especially the Regionals. Contracting and National ADs line up access with the big players. Regionals just sit back and "partner" adding no value.

Contract for what??? The field has proven they can't sell with the access the have. Even funnier is that plans with restrictions are above national. Not an access issue, it's a demand issue created by the field. Latuda is at a billion + with a worse access picture at launch, half the WAC price. Stop the finger pointing and do your jobs.

Incorrect. Latuda's market is public payer. Its had the launch luxury of a protected class for Mcare and covered by majority of Mcaid, or by easy PA. Commercial was secondary once BPD indication came on and demand was already created with psychs.

Key point you make is to just do your job. I argue that if you are an AD, doing your job as explained in the above thread makes you fruitless to the company's bottom line. How can you look yourself in the mirror for years on end and say I'm happy collecting paychecks for nada? I think its time that we expose the MM farce. Enjoy it while you can.
