"Culture" at Horizon is DEAD!!!

    The Glory Days are Officially Over at Horizon Pharma!! The Management Team is now being run by Attorneys that don't give a shit about you, me or even the patients we service each and every day! There only focus is to Hit $88 per/share so that they can cash out there golden parachutes and leave the rest of us behind. That is if they haven't fired all of us by then! I mean how unmotivating was that IC conf call where they basically cut everyone bonus payout by more than 50% just to benefit the investors while crushing the Sales Force and the people that are responsible for making Horizon what It is today! Pretty shitty thing to do if you ask me. Then Terry Evans has the nerve to to talk about the employee stock purchase program cause how many reps actually can afford to pull out 15% of there base pay when they are slashing our bonus payouts at the same time. Then, knowing that he is feeding the best Sales force in the industry a big shit sandwich to eat he closed the call stating, that he basically is doing this to satisfy investors and if people feel they are being mistreated they could look for a job somewhere else!!! You sir, sure know how to motivate 325 Sales Reps!! Again, all they care about is filling there golden parachutes and screwing anyone who gets in there way! In my District alone I have talked to 4 people that are interviewing with other companies as we speak. And those are the only 4 that I've talked to! Moral of the story, People come first in any business.....or you have no business!!!

    Well, after those depressing Q3 Baselines they just rolled out to the sales force let the "Mass Exodus" begin!!! While management keeps finding ways to suck all the motivation from the Workforce now they have taken another giant leap forward. Last week they made baselines nearly unattainable for most of the sales force. These goals are so ridiculous that I bet almost 75% of the sales force won't make the minimum requirement (70% on all 3 products) to even qualify for a bonus. I hope they pull there heads out off there Ass before to many good people leave!!!

    Maybe this was intentional to set things up for the possibility of the DepoMed deal? Let people leave vs paying severance.. make room for some of their reps...either way layoffs and PIPs are on the Horizon.

    there you have it, the type of response I was expecting from upper management! That's what they think about the best Sales Force in the industry. Don't let the door hit you on your way out! That should be the Theme at the next POA!

    This is a a corrupt company whose whole basis is fraud and and charging thousands of dollars for generic medicines. Are you surprised they treat their employees poorly?

    I have never been treated poorly during my tenure here, but then again I work hard to get my numbers to atleast goal. Maybe you should try that route.

    the training department reports the highest Rep Turnover since this company was founded. That pretty much sums up what the Reps think about Horizon right now! Horizon better acquire something fast to firm up there financial situation because according to Barron's Horizon gets an F on there financial report card. Look it up! Better start bailing!

    Highest turn over due to the purge of the bottom reps in the districts is not a bad thing. My guess is you will be next if you aren't already on a PIP or gone.

    Depomed rep here - no one here wants to be acquired by Horizon. There are good products in both companies, but when u talk to a Horizon rep, there is very little positive chatter shared.
    $33 is still at least 20-25% increase is needed for the offer to get serious. Or you can just go away.

    Nice try, it's because your desperate to cut costs since upper management doesn't know how to stop spending foolishly and now you think screwing all your reps is the answer! When this place implodes for incompetence I will get another job and you will be bagging my groceries at Costco dipshit!!

    Wow, you are thickheaded! That is what you took away from the last post? Your Company is "Emploding", Reps are leaving in droves, and Management ignores the warning signs...Good Plan! I have a prediction, Depomed tells you to stick it once again, and by Jan 1, 2016, there will be like 2 insurance plans dumb enough to pay $2200 for our Products and Horizon becomes a Penny Stock!
