Hi everyone wanted to get an honest take here. I had a phone screen, successful meeting with hiring DM and went well. That day he asked me to meet some of my future district mates and the meeting went well.

That was about a week and a half ago. Have not heard anything since. I did send thank you emails to everyone but no response except from one district mate with a generic I enjoyed meeting you.

My question is, if a week and a half has passed by with no word does this mean I did not get the job? No email from HR no nothing. Thanks so much!

You are going for a sales position. Don't be afraid to be aggressive. Call the DM and find out your status. If you don't have the number email the DM.

You were probably just an HR interview and nothing more. You were never a serious candidate. They just needed another body to satisfy the interview number requirement for HR. Chalk it up to being screwed by good old AZ! Better thank God you didn't get the job!

I've never heard of a "consideration" candidate meeting potential district mates. Sounds pretty serious. When I was hired--and my best friend worked for the hiring manager-- he was telling me all along that I was getting an offer per the DM. But the process with HR took much longer than any of us expected and my offer didn't come for 3 weeks. Don't count yourself out yet. Good luck.

You should be in good shape. At a bare minimum, you are one of two that they are looking at. Sometimes things at HR take longer than expected. As a previous poster mentioned, don't be afraid to contact the DM to see where things stand. There's nothing wrong with persistence.

I got hired like a month later. They told me I'd know next week. They love having you on a string; if you get an offer and accept, that's your fate for tenure.

Good pay. But you'll earn every penny. They will make sure you suffer for your money no matter what you do -- hero sales rep or complete do nothing sit in the movie theatre all day.

You will suffer for the money, car and benefits.

Veteran here: Being a tradesman is a good job and if you work hard you can make the money you make at AZ. I mean plumber, electrician, carpenter. It's better in many many ways.

Go buy your suit and look nice.

Good advice. Hopefully the manager has been busy.
