Avoid this Company

    Interviewed for an MSL job with Corcept Therapeutics. They just lost half their MSLs: fired for not having enough sales!! Totally erased the line between medical and sales. KOLs can only be counted if they write a certain number of scripts per quarter. MSLs expected to do 5-8 cold calls a day on endocrines, taking in lunch for the office if necessary. But they are also to help with development program, site visits, market development n addition to being super-sales. Do not interview here! This is a compliance nightmare and a CIA waiting to happen!!

    Spoken like a typical MSL. Can't handle any accountability and wants to be given an exceeds for "speaking to" x number of docs.

    You want to talk to a bunch of doctors? Go back to counting pills you lazy, entitled bitch! Oh yeah, they didn't condescend to talk to you then either did they?

    Hey Repbot, you clearly have a lot to learn. We are NOT Sales people. OIG clearly states such. Learn the industry you tool.

    Same goes for AVNR. Line between Sales and Medical is non-existant. The team is miserable. The MSL Director left 6 months ago, and they haven't been able to fill the job. The CMO is worthless. There will be alot of openings on this team soon, but beware. It sounds horrible.

    Exactly unless you have a robust clinical development platform and are approving a lot of IST's the MSL job is pointless. I work in oncology and I can find anything to do so I basically go to conferences and tumor boards and hang out. If I field one call a month from an oncologists asking a clinical question it's a lot.

    DC is still preaching sells sales sells to the MSL's

    DC still....texts...emails...phones.....sells..sells...sells...Sales.... to the MSL's whats up with that??
