I get it. It will be a bad business decision by rotech. With reimbursement rates cut who in their right mind would want to buy a O2 company? Rotech can't even afford a new concentrator for their current offices.
Rotech does buy new concentrators when needed, but currently has the most reliable workhorse concentrator model available. No need to to replace that which is as good as new. Maybe Rotech and AHP are merging, and large outlays of cash therefore would'nt be a factor. There could also be merging of Rotech/AHP locations, with huge cost savings in those areas.
Rumblings are that Wolfgang was looking for a quick buck and he has lincare centers running very lean. Only way rotech survives is by either beating their biggest competitor of buying them before Wolfgang sells to the Ruskies. I'd rather work for Ruskies though.
