The U.S. will run an estimated $468 BILLION deficit this year, and this bundling will save an estimated $150 million over five years. What a waste of resources....I mean business as usual for the good ole govt!

Obama is attacking this industry. First the medical device tax, now this. To really reduce health care costs look at the legal system. Sue happy Philly lawyers are the real problem

Distributor principals average significantly less than this, minus the cost of paying their straight-commissioned 1099 reps who cover their own expenses, minus their office staff overhead, minus their office and warehouse space overhead, minus their FedEx expenses which average into the $10million+ range or more annually, and on, and on, and on... Not to mention the cost of paying the guv'na his toll... Fat wallets are far and few between these days. If you weren't being a dick wad and really look at the industry, you'd see that most of med device has become a very working-class, hard working group of folks. The glory days are long gone. The average associate rep probably makes between $50 and 75k and often times is covering own expenses out of that. Average med device rep today is making only $125-150. Most making 200-250+ are waiting for the ax to fall on commission rates. There are still people doing 300-500+, but they are becoming a rare breed today, and they usually have a long tenure and have built a substantial business over a long time and earn their due. No one just hands over the keys to the Porsche anymore.
