How much can an Associate make in 2011? How long does it take to get promoted?

If you live on your own in a major city you might want a second job. If you live with your parents or a bunch of roommates, you can pay the bills. You might be promoted after a year depending on the state of the territory. Possibly even earlier than a year. Good luck.

Go on linkedin and do a search of "Applied Medical" for companies and check out the profiles of the employees. Many start out as TMA's and from my research it can take 3 months to 11 months. I couldn't find one profile where the promotion took longer than a year. Try not to get wrapped up in the negativity here.
    Good luck.

I'd say $45K-$80K is a realistic range. Tough to make money the first year, but you can make a decent living at this company if you work hard and get a few breaks in your territory. I'd say the 3-11month promotion time frame is realistic.
