The past quarterly earnings for Medtronic post merger with the new Minimally Invasive Therapy Group posting a 6% year over year global growth is impressive any reorganization would most likely be remnants from the Covidien transition.
You need to reorg during good time, that way you will be prepared during bad time. BTW, growth because of acquisition is not a true reflection of base business growth.
